past events
Six Flags Fright Fest Oct.2011 - We had an amazing trip to Six Flags where new members of Fall 2011 learned more about the organization and got to know more about each other!
Horseback Riding - After a hardworking first semester, we took a horseback riding trip at the stables on the Lake Lanier Islands Resort. It was a great way to relax and unwind after our first 3 months!
"Shimmy for a Cause" Clothing Drive - We hosted 2 free belly dancing classes with a professional belly dancer and simply asked participants to donate clothing that we will be sending to a shelter for battered women here in Atlanta, GA. Everyone had an amazing time while it was all for a great cause as we collected multiple bags full of clothing! We also won GSC's award for "Best New Event"
Candy Sale - We made our first appearance with our Candy Sale in which we raised almost $100 in only 3 hours! It was a great way to get more recognition on campus along with raise money for GEMS; an organization that helps young girls escape sex trafficking. http://www.gems-girls.org
